Tony was given up to FOG by his previous owner when no other animal organization in town would take him. His former owner paid all of his medical expenses and FOG found him a home in September, 2005. He was adopted, along with Pizzazz, by an FSU law student.

Jack (previously named Cassanova) is a giant brown tabby cat who was hit by a car on Magnolia in late 2005. He survived his trauma because the woman who hit him quickly transported him to a vet where he spent several weeks being cared for. His right eye was lost in the accident, but otherwise he is doing just fine. He also tested positive for FIV. He was brought to FOG by Extended Circle, which refused to let him be killed, and Dr. Thompson quickly assessed that he was perfectly tame. In only three days, he found a new home with a college professor. Jack and the professor's dog, Sophie, immediately went nose to nose and made friends. Later, he crawled up on his new owner's bed and laid down, looking like he had found cat heaven. Jack is a lucky little cat, not only because he survived being hit by a car, but also because his owner was not afraid to adopt a cat who tested FIV+.

Luke was one of those rare male torties who was feral at the time FOG rescued him from the Bainbridge, Georgia Shelter. He was adopted by Aslan Shirey who is a strong FOG supporter and has given homes to several of our cats. Even though Luke was fully adult when he was adopted by Aslan, he is now tame and sleeps in his owner's bed.

Florida, her sister Bootsie, and 2 other cats were abandoned by their owner at the Bainbridge Shelter. Florida tested positive for FIV, the other 3 cats tested positive for FIV and FeLV. Unfortunately their previous owner had not vaccinated her cats against those diseases. FOG rescued the cats from certain euthanasia, and Florida was later adopted by Elisabeth Draper, where she has been living for over a year now. Florida is extremely affectionate and enjoys sitting on a warm lap.
